SPOTHEADS, GET FAMILIAR
When I first heard the name Spotheads I instantly thought of a 90’s punk band. Although they travel like a 90’s punk band and party like one, they are a group of East Coast snowboarders and filmers who are passionate about one thing, finding the sickest, most unusual places to test and showcase their ability to grind. Zeb Powell, Jake Fournier, Joey Leon, Maggie Leon, Dave Brown, and George McKeever-Parkes make up this dysfunctional family and they are damn proud of it. I recently linked up with them as they made their way through Boston taking advantage of Mother Nature’s finest. We spent the better part of 3 days searching for shit to ride, slide, and grind on and in the end found some gems. I tagged along and shot stills while the family took turns filming each other. As we wrapped up our time together at a Mexican restaurant somewhere in Lowell, I couldn’t help but think of how much wiser, and nicer this generation of young adults are compared to us Mid 90’s troublemakers. Do yourself a favor and click on the link to catch up and get familiar with what these Spotheads are up to, you wont be dissapointed.
