The dust box
It was late December of last year when I got a call from one of my homies who happens to still in the game. “Yo! The dust box is headed to Boston. You should def link up with them!” At first, I was like who the hell is the dust box? But a few clicks and video links later and I was caught up with the dust box, who they were, and what they were all about. Honestly, they reminded me of a few east coast crews from back in the day that used to congregate and destroy such as VTSP, the Crack Den Posse, and the Glebelands. The Dust Box are a group of snowboarders from Salt Lake City who have mad style and a reputation of dominating the streets with impossible tricks and crazy antics.
After seeng how dope they were I decided to link up with them for a few days snapping pics alongside filmer Miles Perrault as they ransacked Beantown. Most of the spots that we pulled up to I had seen before, but not the way these guys were visioning them. These guys had a crew of hard, hungry, and almost homeless snowboarders who all seemed like they had a death wish. I must be honest; I was stoked to hang and film what they were doing yet I was nervous that I might witness someone get severely injured in the process.
