ESA spring Event wrap up - NYC/BOS/BTV

Well, that was a hell of a lot of fun.

We couldn't be more pleased with the turnout, energy levels, and love shared at our first three events. If you attended, thank you! If you missed 'em, make sure you do not make that mistake again. With Covid restrictions lifting, we ventured to our first stop in New York City to kick things off. The Burton crew had the event venue prepped with legendary DJ Alex Corparin, cold beer from Fat Tire, and smooth water from Liquid Death. So many friends, riders, and family joined us in New York. Chris Noyes, Jim Kelly, Jon Kramer, and many more swooped in with huge smiles and hugs all around.

It was emotional to have Siraj Khan join us. Siraj is the older brother of Jamil Khan, who was taken from his family and all of us far too soon. Siraj and his family have been so kind to East Street Archives, sharing Jamil's equipment, stories, and other items that will help us keep his memory and spirit alive with us each and every day. Thank you Siraj and the entire Khan family.

The first East Street Archive board auction for The CHILL Foundation raised $12,100

Next stop was Boston on a ridiculously warm day on Newbury Street. DJ Stevie was on the ones and two's, the Fat Tire and Liquid Death was iced down, and the celebration started at 6:00 and rolled well past 9:00. The riders poured in to say hello, check it all out, and sign some books. Even cover boy Andrew Mutty was in the house with his crew. Throughout the night the snowboarding storytelling was constant, the stoke level was high, and the community vibe was powerful.

The second East Street Archive board auction for The CHILL Foundation raised $5,800

The final leg of our three day tour brought us north to Burlington, VT. Many folks were amped up and ready. Several had come into Vermont early to ride Bolton Valley and Stowe on Friday and Saturday. Burton Headquarters was the location and it was soon filled up with folks from all over the country. Jeff Brushie flew in from California to attend the night with a deep VTSP squad. Ross Powers and his entire family came. Hobie Chittenden, Jason Evans, Blair Rusin, Jon Kramer, Jim Kelly, Zach Diamond, Mike Montanaro, and dozens more who are featured in the book - all came for the celebration. So many good times were packed into our three events, it is impossible to summarize the reunions, happiness, and love that was shared. As we have stated before, we are just getting started! Stay tuned for more updates on our website and instagram.

The final East Street Archive board auction for The CHILL Foundation raised $6,900.

Bringing our grand total going directly to the CHILL foundation to $24,800.00!

BIG Thanks to Burton, Fat Tire, Liquid Death, Snowboarding, and everyone who came out to show support!
